Gab Salazar

Gabe brings a calm presence and a creative spark wherever he goes. Most mornings start with a few quiet minutes of meditation, helping him center himself before the day begins. Music sits at the heart of his world. As Artistic Director and Conductor for the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida and Music Director at Sunshine Cathedral, teaching and creating music is where he finds real joy.

What excited him about Fabulus Life was the no-pressure atmosphere for meeting new people. While Gabe is single, he’s enjoyed the friendship-first environment that allows connections to grow naturally. One of his favorite moments so far has been connecting with fellow music lovers and inspiring a couple of new voices to explore joining the chorus. Right now, Gabe is working on a meaningful project, commissioning new music to commemorate the 10-year anniversary of the Pulse nightclub tragedy, to be performed later this year at the Broward Center.

Outside of work, he enjoys time with his two puppies, his son, and exploring new ideas and experiences. A month living abroad is high on his bucket list. Fun fact: he once taught music in Rwanda and has run four full marathons. Make sure you say hi to Gabe at the next Fabulus Life event.

Sneak Peek

January is our planning month at Fabulus Life. We are using this time to design experiences that bring people together in meaningful, memorable ways. February kicks things off with one exciting event, and many more Fabulus moments are planned throughout the year.

VIP Preview Party

What it is? The NEXT big thing to arrive in Wilton Manors is almost here. Before the official opening, Fabulus Life members are invited to an exclusive, invite-only early look. Expect great cocktails, entertainment, and a sophisticated new space designed to elevate your evenings.

Invincible: A Night of Remembrance and Pride

What it is? Presented by the Gay Men’s Chorus of South Florida in June, this powerful evening honors the 10th anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy through music, dance, and spoken word. Featuring over 200 voices and a world premiere by composer Saunders Choi, the concert celebrates resilience, unity, and pride.

More details and registration info for both events are coming soon. Stay tuned.

5 Simple Ways to Feel More Connected

  1. You do not need to meet everyone. One meaningful conversation is more powerful than ten quick hellos.
  2. Ask questions that invite stories. “How did you get here?” works better than “What do you do?”
  3. Smile first. It quietly says, “You are welcome here.”
  4. Be present, not perfect. People remember how you made them feel, not what you said.
  5. Leave with intention. A simple “I hope we talk again” opens the door for next time.

Big plans are taking shape for 2026. New experiences, meaningful connection, and plenty of reasons to come together are ahead. We’re glad you’re here and excited to keep building what makes Fabulus Life special. Our journey is just beginning.

Sincerely,

The Fabulus Life Team
